Cookie Cake

Jared's favorite birthday cake. Collette family tradition. Started in Texas. Now in our home. :)

We took it in the car and it slid down the plate a little from Jared's crazy driving... Still looks pretty good though!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup & 1 tbs flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Frosting

Directions
  1. Beat butter and sugars together.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix flour, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
  4. Add dry ingredients to the batter and mix until well blended.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Spread dough into a well greased 8 or 9 inch round pan.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
  8. Let cool for ten minutes and then take out of pan and let cool on a wire rack.
  9. Frost and enjoy!
If you are really ambitious you can make your own frosting, or if you are in a hurry... like I almost always am haha you can just buy some!! I used Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Vanilla and Rich & Creamy Chocolate; amazing!!!
