Brownie Bombe!

According to Answers.com, Bombe means: A dessert consisting of two or more layers of variously flavored ice cream frozen in a round or melon-shaped mold. That perfectly describes this dessert... well sorta :) Depends on if you want two or more layers of variously flavored ice cream :) hehe

Delish!
Ingredients

1 box brownies, prepared as directed in very well greased pans
*I cook in one 8"round pan and 8x8" square pan; it seems to work well for molding.
1 carton favorite ice cream (or more)
1 tub whipped cream (I like fat free, but who cares? With this you might as well go all out!)
1 candy bar that will go well with ice cream flavor (crushed)

Directions

Make sure you cook the brownies in a well greased pan. Have your ice cream out to soften, or you can put it in the microwave for a few seconds to soften it. Get a medium sized bowl and cover it with tin foil. I like to use the round pan of brownies for this part. If you can get the brownie out of the pan as a whole and press into the bowl that is great. If not, just take piece by piece and press it into the bowl. Try to make the top edge even or else when you finish it will be lopsided. Next, put the softened ice cream into the brownie shell until you reach where the brownie stops. Or if you are using multiple flavors you can layer the ice cream.

Take the left over brownie and make a thin layer over the top of the ice cream. Put in freezer to let harden. After it is hardened. Place your serving plate on top of the bowl and then turn it upside down so the brownie bombe comes out of the bowl. Gently peel the aluminum foil away from the brownie. Frost with the whip cream and then sprinkle crushed candy bar on top. You can either eat it at this point, or store it to be served later!

You can definitely make it Rachel... it's easy and wouldn't really matter if it got messed up :) It would still taste great! ha
